HMS PROTECTOR ASSOCIATION
Welcome to the HMS Protector Association web pages. It is hoped that your visit will jog memories
from years ago and trigger the "I wonder what happened to old so and so"

HMS Protector 1936 - 1968. From 1955 until her decommission in 1968 the old girl made regular annual trips to the Antarctic and the Falkland Islands. During her time both before and after her change of use from Net Layer to Ice Patrol Ship, thousands of "jolly jacks" served aboard her. Our Association is actively seeking as many of the ex-ships company as possible.
If you served aboard her at any period between `36 - `68 or you know of someone who did we welcome your contact and trust that the response will be in the affirmative.
Full membership of the Association is also available to ex crew members of HMS Protector 1983-87
(Formerely the Seaforth Saga) and to serving/ex crew members of the current HMS Protector
Check out the member's pages to see if there are any of your old shipmates listed
To join our growing and very friendly Association, simply download an application form. Whilst doing that why not browse the "Slops" page and see what our "Jack Dusty" has to offer.
For a Membership Application Form go to the `Downloads` page.
Reunions are held regularly each year. Grand Annual Reunions are held at different venues each year and are very well supported. To find out more go to the Reunions page where details of the hotels and booking forms can be found. Early booking is advised.
Thank you for visiting our web site. If you know of anyone who may, just may have served aboard the Protector, then please tell them about us.
